Fourteen years of writing.

We started as writers, long before we called ourselves an agency. Content has been our craft for 14 years — the kind of stretch that teaches you patience, precision, and how to actually listen to what a business is trying to say before you write a word of it. Four years ago we picked up design and web development too, not because it looked good on a pitch deck, but because good writing deserves a good home to live in.
What we're proudest of, though, isn't the years — it's the people. We're a small, diverse team from different backgrounds and cultures, and most of us are women. We didn't set out to build a “women-led” company as a talking point — it just happened, one hire at a time, because we kept finding the best person for the job. We'll say it proudly anyway: BarkSpider is a women-majority team, with a wide spread of skills across it.
That mix is why the work doesn't feel templated. Every project passes through people who think differently and write differently, and it shows.
